WES Evaluation: CPA process timeline and fee structure

Step 1: Know your state board – California

Step 2: WES application process

  • Arrange for transcripts: Obtain official transcripts from all colleges and universities you attended.
  • Create a WES account and pay the one-time fee of $375.
  • Submit your transcripts to WES for evaluation directly from your university postal address or university to email a copy. It takes approximately 4-6 weeks to receive the evaluation report.

Step 3: Share the WES report for review by Simandhar evaluation team by submitting a helpdesk ticket:

Step 4: Create California Board Accountancy (CBA) account for approval from the California Board.

Fee Structure (all fees payable in USD; subject to change without prior notice):

  • WES Application Fee: $410 (credit card) may change respect to date.
  • CBA First Time Applicant Fee: $100 (wire transfer) may change respect to date.
  • CBA Second Time Applicant Fee: $50 (wire transfer) may change respect to date.
  • Per Exam NTS Fee: $254 (credit card) may change respect to date.
  • Per Exam International Testing Fee: $510 (credit card) may change respect to date.
