International Testing Fee for US CPA Exam
Question: What is the International Testing Fee for
the US CPA Exam, and who needs to pay it?
Answer: The International Testing Fee is an
additional surcharge that applies to candidates taking the US CPA Exam in
locations outside of the United States and Canada.
Who
Must Pay: All students who take their CPA exams in international
locations (i.e., any country other than the USA and Canada) are
required to pay this fee.
Who
Does NOT Pay: Candidates taking the exam within the USA or Canada
are not required to pay the International Testing Fee.
Important Note (as of June 1, 2025): The
International Testing Fee Surcharge $460 per exam
section for all CPA exams scheduled on or after June 1, 2025. This fee is
separate from the application fee and the individual exam section fees.
