US CPA Exam Re-scheduling (Prometric)

Question: How do I reschedule my US CPA Exam, and what are the associated fees?

Answer: You can reschedule your US CPA Examination through Prometric. The charges for rescheduling depend on how many days are left until your original exam date.

Rescheduling Fees and Policy:

  • More than 30 days before the exam: No charge.
  • 6-29 days before the exam: A fee of $35 approx. is typically assessed.
  • 5 days and up to 24 hours before the exam: A fee of approximately $83.76 (or $84) approx.. is assessed.
  • Less than 24 hours before the exam: You generally cannot reschedule, and all fees paid may be forfeited. You will need to reapply for the exam.

Example: If you are rescheduling the exam within 15 days of the original date, the charges would be approximately $31 or $84 approx. (depending on the exact number of days as per the policy above).

How to Reschedule Your Exam:

You can reschedule your exam online through the Prometric website. You will need your confirmation number from your original appointment.
